1995: The Beginning
In 1995, The Kramer Group is established. The group’s single purpose: to help hospitals with their revenue cycle challenges by recovering rejected insurance claims from both private and public insurance entities. This path will sustain The Kramer Group and their clients for the next ten years.
2004: The Birth of RQi
The Kramer Group realizes that it can perform a greater service to its clients—and to the healthcare industry in general—by uncovering the issues that result in claim rejection before they’re presented for approval. This leads to the birth of the groundbreaking Registration Quality Improvement (RQi) system. By offering RQi as a service instead of selling it as software, The Kramer Group will be able to provide a cost-effective alternative for its clients, allowing them to stay up to date without a huge outlay of funds. As part of the design process, The Kramer Group listens to its current clients and incorporates their ideas into the final product.
2005: RQi Goes Live
In 2005, RQi goes live with its first hospital client, Orlando Health. The eight-campus, 1800-bed institution sees an initial recovery of $8 million in revenues, and an annual recovery of over $2 million thereafter.
2007: A Vision of Healthcare Information Exchange
Realizing that the needs of the healthcare industry are evolving beyond simple registration improvement, The Kramer Group decides to address a critical need for improved information exchange between healthcare entities. The Kramer Group changes its medium to the Internet, and launches its new RQi Enterprise solution.
2009: RQi Enterprise Goes Live
RQi Enterprise goes live at Cedars Sinai in LA, providing the groundwork for future innovations in the healthcare industry.
2010: A New Name
The Kramer Group formally changes its name to Kramer Healthcare Technologies, reflecting its dedication to providing healthcare solutions through technological advancement.
2011 and Beyond: The Future of Healthcare
The healthcare industry can anticipate that Kramer Healthcare Technologies will continue as a healthcare innovator, unveiling the groundbreaking, information-centric solutions throughout 2011 and beyond. By listening to clients and providing solid leadership, Kramer Healthcare Technologies will grow its vision of quality healthcare improvement far into the future.
